ATW Hatfield 5 Entry, Date & Race Guide

The ATW Hatfield 5 features a predominantly flat road course, starting at The Forum on the Herts University Campus. Runners will navigate along College Lane before transitioning onto The Alban Way, a well-known running route in the area. The course includes minimal elevation gain, with only a slight climb of 3 metres, making it one of the fastest 5-mile routes in the UK.

The route continues through Smallford Lane and Sleapcross Gardens, before returning along the A414 footpath and back to the starting point. Located in Hatfield, this race showcases the local scenery while providing a competitive environment, as it also hosts the Herts County Senior Championships. The event supports Alzheimer's Research UK, allowing participants to contribute to a charitable cause while enjoying the race experience.
