About Forest Five Series
The Forest Five Series is a popular five-mile race series that has been running since 2009, held at the scenic Jubilee Retreat. This series is designed to support the ongoing costs of the Orion clubhouse, making it a community-focused event. Races take place on Saturday mornings, with a friendly atmosphere and a focus on participation.
With a minimum age of 16, the series includes three races, offering a reduced rate for those who enter all three. Trophies are awarded for age categories and aggregate times, adding a competitive edge. The August race is part of the ELVIS competition, featuring additional trophies for team performances, making it a highlight of the summer running calendar.
