About Westbridge 5
The Westbridge 5 is a flat and fast multi-terrain race that covers a distance of five miles. It takes place in Westbridge Park, near the town centre of Stone, and features a variety of surfaces including parkland, canal towpaths, and roads. This event is part of the North Staffs Road Runners programme and is designed to complement the annual Stone Festival in early June.
Runners can expect a welcoming atmosphere, with a limit of 275 participants, making it a popular choice that often sells out. The course runs adjacent to the Trent and Mersey canal, looping back to the start, and is suitable for runners of all abilities.
