Clipston Trail Half Entry, Date & Race Guide

The Clipston Trail Half is set in the picturesque countryside surrounding Clipston, featuring a mixed terrain course that includes bridleways and minor country roads. The race begins at the Clipston Recreation Ground and quickly ascends into the rolling hills, offering runners scenic views of the Northamptonshire landscape.

The total elevation gain for the half marathon is approximately 237 metres, with a final section returning to Clipston via a footpath. Organised in conjunction with the Clipston Recreation Field Trust, this event supports the maintenance and development of local recreational facilities.

The race not only showcases the natural beauty of the area but also fosters community involvement through local groups, such as the Clipston WI, who contribute homemade cakes for finishers. Medals are awarded to all participants, celebrating their achievement in this charming rural setting.
